Does Max have programming for the entire family?
Yes! Max has an expanded catalog of programming for everyone in the home. Max will continue to have the HBO Programming that has everybody talking, plus action favorites from the DC Universe, and family friendly programs for kids, teens and parents to enjoy.
And now we are adding even more variety from categories customers love like home, talk, reality, and even some new originals.

If I had HBO Max, do I now have Max?
Yes! If you have previously logged into the HBO Max app, simply use the same username and password to log into Max. All profiles and watch history will automatically carry over.
What happens on May 23rd?
On May 23, the HBO Max app will become Max, bringing you worlds of new content to explore!
If you had HBO Max installed, one of two things will happen: 1) HBO Max will automatically update to Max, or 2) When you open the HBO Max App, you will be prompted to download Max.
Either way, HBO Max will become Max. The Max app will have the HBO Max movies and series that you already love, plus an expanded catalog with new favorites in categories like true crime, documentaries, food, home, lifestyle and more. Most settings, like customer profiles and watch histories, will automatically carry over to Max.
How do I sign into the Max app?
If you had previously logged into the HBO Max app, you simply use the same username and password to log into Max. All profiles and watch history will automatically carry over.
If you had HBO Max but never logged into the app, you will have to set up your account for the first time. It will be easy—just download or open the Max app and use your Astound! username and password to log in.
Can I watch Max on my TV?
Yes! You can stream entertainment from the Max app to your TV either on a connected device or by downloading the app directly to your smart TV. You can go to help.max.com for more helpful information about supported devices, including provider specific receivers.
