Boys & Girls Clubs
Astound Broadband powered by RCN donated $105,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs in Easton, Bethlehem and Allentown to help the organizations continue their mission of creating a sense of belonging and inclusion for youth in the Lehigh Valley to ensure equity.
Community Action Agency of Delaware County
Astound Broadband powered by RCN donated $25,000 to the Community Action Agency of Delaware County. The funds will go directly towards the CAADC’s ongoing commitment to strengthen the Delaware County community, by providing invaluable programs that support housing, employment, and food security.
The Literacy Center
Astound Broadband powered by RCN donated $30,000 to The Literacy Center. The funds donated will go towards the center’s mission to help Lehigh Valley residents who experience language, education, and employment barriers by facilitating self-sufficiency programs through high-quality instruction.
Community Impact
Capital Area Food Bank
Astound Broadband powered by RCN donated $25,000 to Boys Town Washington D.C. to support their mission of helping parents expand and improve their child-rearing skills. These services and programs touch the lives of more than 6,200 children and families in the DC area each year.

My Sister’s Place
Astound Broadband powered by RCN donated $25,000 to My Sister’s Place. MSP shelters, supports, and empowers survivors of domestic violence and their children while providing leadership and education to build a supportive community.

RISE in Queens
Astound Broadband powered by RCN donated $50,000 to Recreational Inner-City Sports Education - RISE in Queens. This donation will help support their numerous programs and events that combat drug abuse and gang violence in the community and support their youth and adult sports and recreation programs.
Ali Forney Center
Astound Broadband powered by RCN donated $50,000 to the Ali Forney Center. The center provides transitional housing and job readiness training to the LGBTQ+ youth community and a safe, warm and supportive environment where they can escape the streets.

Bridge Over Troubled Waters
Astound Broadband powered by RCN donated $50,000 to Bride Over Troubled Waters. The largest nonprofit organization in Greater Boston, Bridge provides a full continuum of care to over 2,000 homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth every year.
Action for Boston Community Development
Astound Broadband powered by RCN donated $50,000 to Action for Community Development (ABCD) to benefit their WorkSMART Program that offers paid internships to Boston high school students in grades 9-12.

Equality Texas
Astound Broadband powered by Grande donated $58,333 to Equality Texas as part of the company's DEI efforts. Equality Texas will use the donation to protect the rights of LGBTQ+ Texans by educating activists, community leaders, and elected officials about LGBTQ+ issues.
Texas Women’s Foundation
Astound Broadband powered by Grande donated $58,333 to the Texas Women’s Foundation as part of the company's DEI efforts. TXWF will use the donation to support their numerous programs and events that advance economic and leadership opportunities for women, girls, and families in Texas.
Texas Diversity Council
Astound Broadband powered by Grande donated $58,333 to the Texas Diversity Council as part of the company's DEI efforts. The donation will support TXDC’s 2022 Texas LGBTQ+ Unity Conference and the DiversityFIRST™ Certification Program, which prepares professionals to create and lead successful diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies for organizational excellence.

The Gazelle Foundation's Run for Water
In November 2021, Astound Broadband powered by Grande was honored to support the Gazelle Foundation’s “Run For the Water” as a media sponsor. The Austin-based nonprofit brought clean water to 5,000 people in four communities in Burundi Africa thanks to the funds raised in the race.
Astound Broadband powered by Grande Cares Club
Governed by employees and funded by employee donations, the Grande Community Chest is a 501(c) (3) organization that makes grants of up to $5,000 to non-profit organizations in our business footprint to address the following needs:
- Basic human services: food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and safety
- Education through access to computer technology
- Positive initiatives for at-risk youth
Grande Employee Memorial Scholarship Fund (GEMS)
The Grande Employee Employee Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to honor deceased employees by awarding college scholarships to select high school seniors in two Astound Broadband powered by Grande markets each year on a rotating basis. To date, scholarships have been presented in Austin, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, San Marcos, Midland/Odessa, Dallas, and Waco.
JA Finance Park
JA Finance Park, Junior Achievement’s capstone program for personal financial planning and career exploration, is offered to schools free of cost thanks to Astound employees through Grande Cares.

Join us at Memorial Library of Nazareth & Vicinity’s Touch a Truck fundraiser event! Children of all ages can climb in (and on) trucks and other vehicles from local exhibitors, ranging from construction equipment to school buses! Families can enjoy food, crafts, giveaways and more! Bay Street Boo Bash

A community trick-or-treat event hosted by Port Orchard Waterfront businesses. Bring the whole family for a fun filled day, full of activities! But don’t forget about the Scarecrow, The Annual Scarecrow Contest is an opportunity for the community to show off their creativity and love of downtown Port Orchard while celebrating the fall season. Over three weeks in October and November, members of the Port Orchard community will showcase their scarecrows around downtown Port Orchard. Winners receive trophies and/or plaques commemorating their accomplishments!
