Fall Sports Honorees – Part II

As I try to point out on a regular basis, there are some tremendous sports accomplishments that don’t get as much notoriety as the more “popular” sports (given attendance figures), such as football, basketball and wrestling.

Last month, I put a call out here at the “SportsTalk Shop” for local athletic directors, coaches and school administrators to pass along special accomplishments for us to highlight and let other people know about. Since that time, I’ve gotten a steady stream of lists, accomplishments, honors and highlights of local athletes from local athletic directors looking to get the word out about these special student-athletes.

Below are more listings of top performers in the RCN coverage area—and make sure you check out recent editions and blog entries here at the “SportsTalk Shop” to see more of our local girls and boys athletes’ awards and standout performances.
