We are blessed to have a number of special sports people in the Eastern Pennsylvania region. Coaches, players, administrators…officials, umpires and referees.
Frank D’Angelo is one of those special members of the latter categories. In addition to being a school administrator for several years, he announced his retirement after a 45-year officiating career midway through 2022, but he also was diagnosed with Stage Four cancer over the last several months.
We had the privilege recently to talk with Frank about both his wonderful experiences officiating different sports, along with his current medical struggles…
