Although there were a few upsets in the first round of the PIAA State playoffs involving teams in our coverage area, the majority of schools advanced into the second round.
The Easton girls and both the Northampton and Northwestern boys were among the teams that were upset in round one, but all three had phenomenal seasons with many of their key players coming back for next season.
Before we take a look at our broadcast schedule for this Tuesday and Wednesday, here’s video highlights of the top plays and moments as seen on our network over the last few weeks (including one of the most impressive performances I’ve ever seen in a district playoff game from Central’s Jahrel Vigo)….

For the road ahead, we’ll have three of our remaining local teams playing on Tuesday night: Liberty and Parkland girls teams and Allentown Central Catholic boys.
For Wednesday, we’ll broadcast the Central Catholic girls taking on Scranton Prep, the Parkland boys facing Scranton and the Catasauqua boys team facing Lancaster Mennonite.
