Astound Broadband Introduces 1.2 Gigabit Internet and Debuts Astound TV+ App in First Unified Product Launch Since Rebrand

Award-winning provider offers new supercharged gigabit+ speeds and TV streaming application bring content, choice, and control for customers

Princeton, N.J. – August 9, 2022 – Astound Broadband (Astound), the sixth-largest U.S. cable provider, powered by leading regional providers RCN, Grande Communications (Grande), Wave Broadband (Wave) and enTouch Systems (enTouch), today announced the nationwide launch of its supercharged internet download speed of up to 1200 Mbps / up to 50 Mbps upload. This brings some areas of the U.S. access to the fastest connectivity speeds available to-date and is the first major product launch since RCN, Grande, Wave and enTouch joined forces under the Astound Brand earlier this year.

Alongside the enhanced 1.2 Gigabit speed, the award-winning company is also unveiling their new streaming application, Astound TV+ app. When paired with the company’s IPTV video service, customers will be able to download the Astound TV+ app for free. When connected to WiFi, a user can stream live TV and free On Demand programs in and out of the home, as well as a variety of platforms, including iOS or Android phones and tablets, including select Android TVs, Apple TVs, Fire TV devices via astoundtv.com.

Astound Broadband Powered by RCN Donates $160,000 to Local PA Non-profits

The Literacy Center, Boys & Girls Clubs of Easton, Bethlehem and Allentown, and the Community Action Agency of Delaware County (CAADC) received funding from local broadband provider to further support community programs

Lehigh Valley, PA – May 2, 2022 – Astound Broadband (Astound) Powered by RCN has donated a total of $160,000 to local area non-profits throughout the month. Recipients of Astound Broadband’s donations include The Literacy Center in Allentown, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Easton, Bethlehem, and Allentown, and the Community Action Agency of Delaware County (CAADC) in Boothwyn.

Astound Broadband has been part of the Lehigh Valley and Delaware County community for years, both as an employer and as an internet, TV, and phone provider to residents and businesses in the region. Astound is dedicated to its employees and communities in ensuring equitable opportunities for all, in consideration of gender, ability, religion, orientation, or socioeconomic, racial, and ethnic backgrounds. The partnerships with The Literacy Center, Boys and Girls Clubs, and CAADC helps assure success is achievable for every member of these communities. Astound Broadband Waives Landline Phone Charges for Customers Calling Ukraine

March 1, 2022

Princeton, N.J. – March 1, 2022 – Astound Broadband (Astound), the sixth-largest U.S. cable provider, powered by leading regional providers RCN, Grande Communications (Grande), Wave Broadband (Wave) and enTouch Systems (enTouch), is waiving customer fees associated with calling Ukraine from the United States. Starting February 28th, international calling charges for Astound Broadband phone customers will be waived when calling Ukraine through March 31st.

Through March 31, 2022, both existing and non-current residential customers can submit entry to the giveaway for a chance to win a host of exciting weekly, monthly, and grand prizes, including a virtual reality (VR) headset, 4K UHD Smart TV, a number of popular headphones, streaming devices, cookware and gift cards ranging from $50-$1,000 and much more.

All sweepstakes entries must be made by completing the online entry form. All entrants are required to provide valid, up-to-date contact information to be eligible for the giveaway prizes.
