Chris Michael, ATVN Sports Director Chris Michael is the ATVN Sports Director responsible for leading ATVN’s on-air sports broadcast team, including: baseball, football & basketball games. Prior to ATVN, Chris worked in television and radio (including stops at CBS Sports, Radio Pennsylvania and Sportsradio WIP), covering professional and collegiate Philadelphia teams including two World Series, NFC Championships and an NBA championship. He handled football and men’s & women’s basketball play by play for colleges at Temple, Rutgers, Princeton and other schools as well as announcing Reading Phillies and Somerset Patriots minor-league games. He has taught journalism, communications and film in colleges and high schools. Among his other current duties as Senior Producer and Manager of Media Services, he is the producer of the ATVN Sports Talk Show. Read Chris’ weekly blog. |

Cameron Nunez, Blogger/Reporter Cameron joined ATVN as a sports blogger commenting on local sports in our coverage area and focusing on her unique experiences as a student-athlete. In high school, Cameron was a member of the Easton field hockey team and was on first-ever girls Red Rovers wrestling squad and also a member of the National Spanish Honor Society, before joining the East Stroudsburg University wrestling team. |

John Leone, Color Commentator John has been an ATVN Sportscaster since 1997, when he joined Gary Laubach as color commentator for Lafayette basketball coverage on the Lafayette Sports Network. He is a former basketball coach at Lafayette College. |

Melvin Thomas, Broadcaster/Blogger Mel was a three-time letter winner playing Division-I college football at the University of Colorado before being drafted by Ray Rhodes and the Philadelphia Eagles. After stints as a high school football coach, he joined ATVN’s broadcasting team in the fall of 2023 and also writes a bi-weekly blog during football season for the ATVN website. Mel is also an ordained minister and is the pastor at the Calvary Baptist Church in South Whitehall township. |

Salome Carr, Reporter/Blogger Salome was a standout lacrosse player at both Saucon Valley High School and Moravian College. She was voted the “Comeback Player of the Year” at the All-Athlete Awards Banquet hosted by Moravian University SAAC. Upon graduation with a Health Sciences degree, she began reporting on local sports for the Astound TV Network and writing a bi-weekly in-season lacrosse blog on our website. |

McKenna Wall, Broadcaster
McKenna started working with the ATVN Sports Department in 2023, announcing high school events. She also works as both a play-by-play announcer and color analyst for The Big 10-Plus TV Network and CommRadio, where she was also a multimedia reporter covering sports, arts and news. Additionally, she worked both in front of and behind the camera on the television sports program “After The Whistle,” serving as an anchor, reporter and senior producer. McKenna grew up in the Lehigh Valley and played both scholastic and club volleyball. |

James Middleton, Football Color Analyst
James was a featured running back on one of the most storied HS football programs in America – the Easton Red Rovers – upon his graduation in 2014. A standout two-sport athlete, James went on to play collegiately before returning to the Lehigh Valley to coach girls high school basketball at Whitehall while also joining Chris Michael each fall as an ATVN football analyst.

Scott Barr, Broadcaster Scott began his broadcast career with ATVN in 1985, and serves as the studio’s expert for wrestling and tennis broadcasts. In addition, he has been part of the broadcast team for a wide range of other sports including baseball, football, basketball, lacrosse, kickboxing, soccer and boxing. Each year, he also serves as a co-host of the Dream Come True Telethon. |

Rayann Vasko, Dream Come True Telethon Co-Host Rayann has been part of the annual Dream Come True Telethon on ATVN since its inception in the mid-1980s. In addition to being the charitable organization’s Executive Director she works as an elementary educator at St. Anne’s School in Bethlehem. |

Tony Ortiz, Host of Nuestro Valle Born in Mexico, Jose Antonio (Tony) moved to the U.S., eventually settling in the Lehigh Valley. He has served as producer and host of ATVN’s Nuestro Valle program since 2008. Tony has worked with organizations as diverse as the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, AIDSNET, Latin Alliance of the Lehigh Valley and as past president of the Mexican Cultural Center in Philadelphia. |

Gabrielle DiPaula, Broadcaster Gabrielle has worked as a sideline reporter for Penn and Princeton University of the Ivy League, and has done both play-by-play and color for Division III McDaniel College in various sports. She is an on-air announcer for WBAL Newsradio and has worked for 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore/Washington, DC, covering the Ravens, Orioles and the University of Maryland football and basketball teams. Gabby also works as a social media correspondent for CBS Sports. |

Victoria Newsome, Broadcaster The Villanova University product joined the ATVN staff after stops at the CBS News affiliate in Philadelphia and was an on-air host and sideline reporter for the Wildcats Sports Network. She has a love for sports media, storytelling, hosting, and helping give a voice to the voiceless. In addition, Victoria was on the Villanova Dance Team where she dedicated a majority of time to practicing, performing, competing, and serving the Delaware Valley community. . |

Dan Mowdy, ATVN Community Spotlight Host Dan has hosted ATVN’s “Community Spotlight” for more than 10 years, and has worked behind microphones in five countries and on four continents. Originally from New York, he enjoys the dynamics and diversity of all of the regions that ATVN serves. When putting together an interview show, no one values the challenge of “keeping it fresh” more than Dan. |

Artie Freeman Host of “Take-5”, “Movie Vault Extra”, and “Cultural Bridges” Artie is the producer and host of ATVN’s “Cultural Bridges“. Celebrities nationwide discuss how other cultures around the world have had a positive impact on their lives. Artie has dedicated himself to bridging racial and cultural gaps in the community on “Take-5” by establishing dialogues with people in all walks of life. He is the producer and host of “Movie Vault Extra”, in which he introduces classic films. His extensive knowledge of film history is on display as he shares interesting behind-the-scenes information regarding the “Movie Vault” films that we broadcast. He also serves as a co-host of the Dream Come True Telethon. |

Gary Laubach, Lafayette College Broadcaster Gary began his broadcasting career with Twin County Cable in 1972. He has worked with the network under its various company names (Twin-County, C-Tec, RCNTV and ATVN) since that time. Mr. Laubach has done over 5000 television events, and play-by-play for most of the major high school and intercollegiate sports in the Lehigh Valley. He has announced for Lafayette College on the Lafayette Sports Network for the past 25 years and has been seen nationwide on Fox Sports and ESPN+. He spent many years as a weekly guest on the Bearman and Keith morning show on WZZO. He has been inducted into the following: Wilson Area School District Hall of Fame; the Lehigh Valley Wrestling Hall of Fame; the McDonald’s All-Star Classic Hall of Fame; the VIA All-Star Basketball Hall of Fame; the Northampton County American Legion Hall of Fame; and the Blue Mountain League Baseball Hall of Fame. He chose to become part-time in 2021 and continues to do the play-by-play for Lafayette football and men and women’s basketball. |

Brooke Zumas, Wrestling Broadcaster Brooke joined our announcing team as a wrestling commentator during the 2023 – 24 school year. She was instrumental in getting girls high school wrestling sanctioned as an official sport in Pennsylvania and was a frequent panelists on ATVN SportsTalk during those efforts. Brooke has coached at several different schools and also currently works as a consultant for wrestling programs. |

Mason Smith, Blogger/Commentator
Mason has been covering District XI high school sports for several years now and is particularly tuned-in to the local basketball scene. He writes a bi-weekly in-season blog on local hoops action here on our website and, in addition, makes regular appearances on a variety of sports throughout the year on our ATVN SportsTalk program, which airs live on Thursday evenings at 7pm on the Astound TV Network and is also streamed for free on our YouTube channel.

Sally Whittaker-Kahan, Broadcaster As a member of the Lehigh Valley Softball Hall of Fame, DeSales University Athletic Hall of Fame, and Parkland High School Athletic Hall of Fame, Sally was a three-sport athlete in softball, basketball, and volleyball. She has coached softball at the high school and collegiate levels over the years, including winning the District XI softball championship for Northampton in 2013. Sally is currently the At-Risk School Counselor at Northampton Area Middle School. |

Paul Carreras, Football Reporter Paul is a graduate from East Stroudsburg University and former member of the school’s football team. Paul handles sideline reporting duties for high school football games on ATVN’s telecasts. |

Dennis Laub, Color Analyst Dennis has been broadcasting football and basketball games since 2006. He also was a co host on SportsTalk Football Friday Night. |

Renee Washington, Broadcaster Renee began working with ATVN during the winter 2022-23 season and also is a sports reporter/host working with ESPN, Fox Sports, and MLB. She is the host of “Beyond the Headlines with Renee Washington” covering all things sports, music, and entertainment. A former three-time all-American and soccer hall of famer, Renee has covered all sports collegiately or professionally. In December of 2020, she launched the organization “Planted, Not Buried” focused on empowering, educating, and inspiring others through access to resources, events, and more. |

Ramie Moussa, Broadcaster Ramie was an outstanding wrestler and lineman at Whitehall High School. He became one of the area’s top coaches for that position at his alma mater before becoming the head football coach for Palisades High School in Kintnersville — winning a 2A District 11 Championship in 2020. He moved to an assistant coaching position in the East Penn School District before starting his broadcasting position for both football and wrestling with ATVN. |

Katelyn Arnold, Broadcaster/Blogger A recent graduate of Lafayette College, Katelyn made a smooth transition into the announcing booth. She also took over a bi-weekly column focusing on collegiate & scholastic girls field hockey for ATVN starting with the 2024-25 school year. Katelyn received numerous local and national honors, was named “Player of the Year,” multiple times, along with being a Patriot League Academic All-League member, and continues to be ranked as one of the most efficient goalkeepers in Eastern Pennsylvania of all time. |

Andrew Harris, Sideline Reporter After a stellar high school career, Andrew succeeded at Bloomsburg University as both a linebacker on the school’s football team and graduating with a degree in Communications & Business. He had worked as a assistant coach before joining the ATVN Sports team as a sideline reporter in the fall of 2023. |

Lilly Moss Hercik, Dream Come True Telethon Co-Host/Performer Lilly first joined the annual Dream Come True Telethon in 2022 as a guest performer. Not only is she a talented singer/songwriter rising from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Lilly is also a pediatric cancer survivor of leukemia and a 2010 DCT dream recipient. Phillip Ng, Football Commentator A graduate of Morello Prep High School (California), Phil had a stellar career as a Wide Receiver at Lafayette College, becoming a member of the school’s Football Hall of Fame. After serving as a radio analyst for three years on WJRH radio, Ng began his football announcing career with ATVN. |

Greg Moore, Color Analyst Originally from New York, Greg has become one of the most respected assistant coaches in Eastern Pennsylvania. In addition to his high school program successes, Coach Moore’s two sons have become outstanding Division-I lineman at Virginia Tech University. When not coaching or attending his sons’ games, Greg shares his experiences and provides valuable football insights on ATVN’s telecasts. |

Adriana Dias, Wrestling Broadcaster Adriana made history by becoming part of the first ever women’s wrestling team at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, and made history again in February 2023 by becoming the first female in Lehigh Valley history to broadcast a boys high school district wrestling championship on ATVN. She is a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic HS, which boasts one of the premiere scholastic wrestling programs in the nation. Adriana also played volleyball. |

Ryan Nunamaker, Color Commentator Ryan was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. As a product of the District XI wrestling community, Ryan wrestled at Nazareth High School, and then went on to wrestle for North Carolina State University. Ryan then began a teaching and coaching career in the Parkland School District. Ryan was an assistant coach at Parkland for four years, and he held the head coaching position. In 2017, Ryan began his commentating career as a high school wrestling analyst for ATVN Sports. |

Dawn Cipolla, Color Analyst
Dawn joined ATVN for the first ever lacrosse broadcasts on our network in the spring of 2024. Cipolla, who won four District 11 championships and four East Penn Conference titles in her 7 years as head coach at Parkland. She also earned several coach of the year and team of the year awards during her tenure with the Trojans.

Megan Kane, Basketball Announcer Megan joined the ATVN team in 2021 after serving as a successful basketball coach in the Lehigh Valley at the high school and college level. Megan, a Hall of Fame inductee at Berwick High School and the University of Delaware, had an outstanding playing career scoring over 2,000 points in high school and over 1,000 in college. She was also selected as UD Outstanding Senior Female Athlete of the Year. |

Marlon Randall, Broadcaster Marlon started broadcasting district playoff games with Chris Michael for ATVN during the 2023 season. Before becoming the varsity boys basketball head coach for Dieruff High School in Allentown, he was a head coach at Pottsville HS and an assistant coach on the Reading boys basketball staff that won a state championship in 2017. |

Mimi Griffin, Basketball Analyst Enshrined in the NCAA Basketball Hall of Fame (Class of 2014), Mimi served as the “face” for women’s basketball in its early television exposure and laid the foundation and groundwork for women’s basketball on television. Griffin was the primary women’s basketball analyst for ESPN for 17 years and provided color analyst for the NCAA Women’s Final Four six times. In 1990, she was the first woman color analyst for a NCAA men’s tournament game on ESPN and a year later, became the first woman to broadcast the first two rounds of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament on CBS Sports. Mimi was the 1994 WBCA Mel Greenberg Media Award winner. She also formed and is CEO for the highly successful MSG Productions, which has overseen many US Senior Open & US Women’s Golf championships. |

Eric Schmitt, Baseball Analyst Eric became the first person in Blue Mountain League Baseball history to play, coach and broadcast a BML game in the league’s 80-plus year history, when he joined Chris Michael as his broadcast partner in 2022. In addition to announcing summer games, Eric is currently the head baseball coach at Whitehall High School. This follows a long career as a hitting instructor, and assistant coach at several local schools and as a player/manager for the Martins Creek Creekers. |

Brittany Thomas, Basketball Analyst Brittany joined the ATVN team in 2021. She has previously been a basketball coach in the Lehigh Valley at the high school and college level. Brittany was a member of the girls basketball team at Catasauqua High School, where she is a 1,000-point scorer as well as a member of the East Stroudsburg Women’s basketball team through college. |

Harrison Bailey, Announcer Harrison works with Chris Michael broadcasting the National Highland Games Championships each year. A standout football and track-and-field athlete at Lakewood (NJ) High School, Harrison traveled the world was a world champion competitor in highland sports for over a decade before retiring to become a high school principal, in addition to announcing with ATVN. |

Payce Korpics, Broadcaster A graduate of Moravian University, starting all four years in the net, Payce was named College Sports Communicator (CSC) Academic All-District Women’s Soccer Team for NCAA Division III Schools (2022 & 2023), Landmark Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week (2022), and the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week fueled by Honey Stinger (2023). Payce was a varsity captain on the Northampton Area High School Women’s Soccer Team, earning herself, Lehigh Valley Scholar Athlete and EPC 2nd Team. As a goalkeeper and alumni of the EPC and Landmark Conference, Payce brings a unique perspective to the games. |

Mike Feltenberger, Auto Racing Announcer Mike has an established resume as an auto racing photographer with numerous local and national award honors. From 1989 to 2000 he was the assistant starter at the track, before getting back behind the camera as both a racing photographer and an Astound TV Network broadcaster. In the 1980’s and early 1990’s Mike was the lap-by-lap announcer for the Tri Track Series broadcasts on the former WHUM and WAGO AM radio stations in Reading. Mike also hosts an auto racing show in Reading on Berks Community Television called “Strapped In”. |

Jake Young, Football/Wrestling Commentator A rare student-athlete who excelled at TWO Division-I sports in college, Jake was a four-year letterwinner in football and two-year letterman in wrestling at Columbia University. Over his four-year collegiate career on the gridiron, he saw action in a variety of roles as a linebacker, key special teams performer and return specialist. Prior to joining the Ivy League, he played three sports in high school and was named the Eastern Pennsylvania area’s “Top High School Athlete,” after winning a popularity vote over current New York Giants running back and Heisman Trophy candidate Saquan Barkley. Young joined our staff during the 2023-24 broadcast year. |

Shelby Hoppis, Broadcaster A graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a degree in athletic training, Hoppis plied her craft around the world with the United States’ junior and senior men’s and women’s national wrestling teams and men’s and women’s national squash teams. Hoppis’ past experiences includes accompanying Team USA women’s wrestling to Tokyo for the 2020 Olympic Games, which were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Shelby’s first broadcast with Astound was in 2024 as part of the first ever broadcast of the District 11 girls wrestling championships. |

Ajay Patel, Broadcaster A product of Temple University in Philadelphia, Patel worked on the college’s Emmy Award-winning student run television program, Temple Update, as well as Owl Sports Update and as a co-host of WHIP-AM news/sports radio show. Among Ajay’s work experiences include time in the Philadelphia Phillies front office. Patel joined the Astound family in 2024 as a sideline reporter for basketball and baseball games. |

Mackenzie Laub, Blogger Mackenzie joined ATVN in the winter of 2023 as a sports writer for our website. She graduated from Whitehall High School in 2022 and currently attends Eastern University as a biology major, communications minor, and is a member of the university’s softball team. |

Aurea Orti, Parade Announcer Aurea is a retired employee from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where she served as the District Office Director for Representative Steve Samuelson. She also had the distinction of being the first Latina elected to the Bethlehem Area School Board of Directors. With over three decades of service, her work and volunteer efforts have spanned education, social services, and community outreach. Presently, she volunteers as a Radio Host for ‘Charla Comunitaria’ on 88.1 Lehigh Valley Radio and acts as the Community Outreach Director for Education and Social Services at Shekinah Ministries. |

Jarrett Carnes, Basketball Analyst Jarrett Carnes joined the Astound TV Network in 2022 as a basketball commentator and blogger. He contributes a monthly “v-blog” on the local hoops scene during the winter sports season. Jarrett is a former standout athlete in multiple sports before playing college basketball at Penn State and is currently the head girls basketball coach at Liberty High School. In his first season as a head coach, he led the Hurricanes to their first district playoff victory after the program went six years without a postseason appearance. |

Anna Leone, Broadcaster/Statistician Anna found herself in the world of tech after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She spent 4 years at Modsy, a tech startup, where she took on the role of an Operations Analyst and is now pursuing a career in software engineering. She is a graduate of Easton Area High School and served as team captain for the girls basketball team her senior year. |

Nathan Fusco-Lomont, Baseball Announcer Nathan played high school baseball in the Lehigh Valley at Wilson HS , winning a District XI Class 4A medal and currently plays at the college level at Cecil. Nathan does on-field reports for ATVN Sports during our coverage of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference and Colonial League baseball games. |

Patti Ditzel, Host and Producer Patti Ditzel hosts and co-produces “The Halftime Show” and “Take 5 Adoptable Pets” features, in addition to announcing Parades, hosting Concerts, and interviewing Lehigh Valley Polo For Equi-librium guests on ATVN. She began her television career by hosting and co-producing “The Ditzel Sisters’ Christmas Special” during her 10-year appearance as the On-Stage Solo Violinist in the Off-Broadway Hit “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” in New York City. |

Aziz Atiyeh, Broadcaster Aziz excelled in three scholastic sports (football, soccer and volleyball) at Whitehall High School and went on to play the latter two sports successfully at Kings College in Wilkes-Barre. Atiyeh brings his experiences with all three sports to the Astound sports family as a color commentator. |

Ann Savkova, Parade Commentator
Savkova worked for 32 years of joyfully teaching high school English and freelancing with RCN (now Astound!) In a variety of functions, including co-hosting and conducting interviews for our Dream Come True Telethon. Ann has retired to a life of travel, reading, crafting and taking classes to broaden her horizons and still broadcasts most of our Halloween and holiday parade presentations for ATVN.

Okezie Alozie, Broadcaster Okezie joined ATVN’s broadcasting team in 2021 as a Sideline Reporter. The Freedom High School product served as Team Captain while playing Division I FBS football. He was named an All–American Honorable Mention by Pro Football Focus and All–MAC selection in 2015 as a Safety & Linebacker. Okezie resides in the Lehigh Valley with his family and coaches 7on7 football for Diamond Athletics. |

Meghan Caffrey, Broadcaster Meghan started her ATVN career in the fall of 2022 as a football sideline reporter. Meghan is a sports broadcaster with a passion for storytelling. She has covered NCAA football and men’s and women’s NCAA basketball, appearing on outlets including Fox Sports 1, ESPN+, and NBC Sports Philadelphia. Meghan has covered collegiate athletics working as a studio host, sideline reporter, and basketball analyst. Meghan is a graduate of Penn State University, where she studied broadcast journalism with an emphasis in sports. |

Josh Young, Sideline Reporter Josh is a proud product of Bethlehem Area School District, graduating in 2013. During high school, he played football, wrestling, and track, and earned the NAACP student-athlete award in high school and was on the diversity council. Josh went on to be a two-sport collegiate athlete in wrestling and football at Franklin & Marshall College. He has two younger brothers who played NCAA D1 sports at Columbia University and Harvard University. |

Linette Medina, Voiceover Specialist Linette started doing voiceovers for ATVN SportsTalk and has become the main voice for the Astound TV Network, voicing station identifications, promos, interstitials and other elements you hear on ATVN throughout our broadcast day. She is married to Becahi Basketball Coach Jose Medina. |

Amirah Moody, Blogger/Reporter Amirah joined ATVN in the fall 2022 when she was a senior at Muhlenberg College, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Management and minoring in Studio Art. She was a defensive specialist on her college volleyball team. Amirah has also coached volleyball at CrossCourt volleyball club for three years. |

Joe Stellato, Announcer Joe Stellato joined the ATVN Sports team as a play-by-play announcer in 2022. Joe was a first team all-league football player in high school in addition to lettering in basketball and baseball. Stellato fielded opportunities to play all three sports before playing Division-II football at East Stroudsburg University. Stellato coached football at East Hills MS and basketball at Freedom HS, leading the Patriots to the District XI 6A title as their head coach in 2020. |

Nico Camacho, Sideline Reporter Camacho was not only one of the best two-way lineman when he played high school football but was also on the short list of the best wrestlers in the Pennsylvania. He accepted a Division 1 college scholarship and had a stellar career at American University in Washington, DC. He returned to the Lehigh Valley to do sideline reporting for high school football games for Astound TV. |
